This Software has got three inbuilt scanning modes: Quick Scan, Extensive Scan and File Trace. Quick Scan: It is quickest mode and is intended to deal with minor corruption problems. This mode is helpful in recovering the data lost due to damage of MFT, corruption of the file system(s), presence of bad sectors on disk and index corruption; also, it is helpful in recovering the recently deleted data.Extensive Scan: You can employ the Extensive Scan if the Quick Scan mode fails to generate the desired results, especially in the case of data loss due to hard disk formatting, deletion of hard disk partitions, and recreation of hard disk partitions. This mode is very successful even in the case of a severe corruption of virtual hard disk.File Trace: It is the most powerful of the three scanning modes as it offers sector by sector scanning of the hard disk. You can employ this mode to recover extremely corrupt VHD files and the files that were deleted long time back. However it is the slowest of all the three scanning modes.
