Position: Middle School and Upper School Laboratory Technician- Independent
Contractor
Hours per Week: no more than 15 hours
Position Description:
Chadwick International School is an international school providing students in Korea
with a western style education in English. CI needs a friendly, responsible and
motivated laboratory technician to assist teachers in grades 6-10. The technician
must be bilingual in Korean and English. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
preparing chemical solutions for experiments, set-up of laboratory experiments,
cleaning of glassware and other lab equipment, help in purchasing science equipment
from Korean and other suppliers, maintaining an up-to-date inventory of science
supplies, complying with regulations regarding safe storage and disposal of materials,
assisting in the classroom on lab days, organizing science supply areas and completing
errands around the school and/or Songdo for departmental needs. Previous lab
experience is helpful but not necessary. Training will be provided where
needed. Competitive salary dependent upon experience
